Almost Human: An Elephant's Life

Confronted by fire, famine, predators, and poachers, three elephant families overcome adversity in ways that feel almost human in nature. This documentary will follow the journeys of elephant herds in Kenya, India, and Mali as they migrate towards food and safety, using knowledge shared over generations. As we look into the minds of elephants, we see that their unique abilities to communicate, educate, and sympathize provide them with the necessary skills to survive. Yet, despite the strength and intelligence of these majestic creatures, humans are causing elephant populations to plummet around the world.
